2016 NMC Technology Outlook > International Schools in Asia Wiki

A Horizon Project Regional Report

Welcome to our shared workspace! This wiki is for this year's Horizon Project Panel of Experts to manage the selection process for the topics in the 2016 NMC Technology Outlook > International Schools in Asia. This report is made possible by the 21st Century Learning International, Canadian International School HK, Chinese International School HK, Eduro Learning, ISS, NIST International School, Renaissance College HK, Shekou International School, and UWC SEA.

The report will be released officially in February 2016 at the 21st Century Learning Conference in Hong Kong.

What's New?
  • We need your help! Do you know of an innovative project that's relevant to international schools in Asia? Please submit it at http://go.nmc.org/projects. By all means, share this link with your colleagues as well! - Vic Vic Dec 2, 2015
  • Voting is DONE -- You can see what topics, trends, and challenges we'll be exploring in this year's report here on nmc.org: http://go.nmc.org/qvzse - Vic Vic Dec 2, 2015
  • We are in the voting phase! That's right. Now it is time for arguably the most important activity of the Horizon Project, and we need your input. The deadline for the rankings is Monday, November 23rd. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
  • DEADLINE FOR RESEARCH Q'S APPROACHING -- This Tuesday the 10th is the last day for adding your input. Very interesting commentary so far, especially on the trends. Some new technologies popped up too! Big thanks to all contributors so far! :) - Vic Vic Nov 6, 2015
  • We are in the midst of the Research Question phase! You have until November 10 to read and respond to RQ 1-4. I'll be sending out a reminder at the mid-way point, in case you need a little extra encouragement. Thanks for participating! - Vic Vic Oct 20, 2015
  • Welcome, everyone! We have 55 experts on this year's panel -- Wa-hoo! The wiki orientation has started. It's time to update your user profile and catch up with the press clippings until October 13, when we will embark on the research questions. So, rest up and read up!
  • If you have any questions, please contact me directly at victoria@nmc.org, or NMC's Director of Tech at gordon@nmc.org. Always happy to help :-)
